Welcome to the BOOST Program!
BOOST is all about empowering the Western Balkans countries as they move towards becoming part of the EU. We're here to support the region’s growth in democratic, economic, social, and cultural areas.

Sub-Granting Schemes
Regional Sub-Granting Scheme:
Building Stronger Communities
Our Regional Sub-Granting Scheme is all about empowering civil society organizations (CSOs) in the Western Balkans. By encouraging collaboration between CSOs and local stakeholders, we aim to boost citizen influence in decision-making and drive long-term positive changes in communities. This initiative supports sustainable development and plays a key role in advancing European integration through active civil society involvement in policy development
National Sub-Granting Scheme:
Supporting Local Impact
The National Sub-Granting Scheme offers financial support to local civil society organizations (CSOs) and civil actors across the six Western Balkan countries. This initiative focuses on several key areas: entrepreneurship (with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship), supporting growth and sustainability in rural development, supporting efforts to protect the environment, and promoting and preserving cultural heritage. By funding projects in these areas, we aim to make a meaningful impact on a national level.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The BOOST program is open to non-profit, non-state organizations, particularly Civil Society Organizations with experience in these three key areas:
Youth and Entrepreneurship
Rural Development and Environment
Cultural Heritage and Community Development
